This Building Leaks is a real-time exhibition broadcasting from the University of Sheffield School of Architecture; part of the school’s centenary celebrations.

All exhibitions are dishonest. Work is curated, filtered, conditioned – by which time it is always late. This Building Leaks is an exhibition not by Sheffield School of Architecture but of Sheffield School of Architecture. The Upper Floors of the Arts Tower have been bugged, leaking snippets of work, activity, conversations...

Every night the Arts Tower leaks light. The lights are always on. Anybody might think that the Arts tower is a silent institution for insomniacs. The premise behind This Building Leaks is to break that silence. For the next few months, those in Sheffield, or anywhere in the world, can infiltrate the school in real-time, and listen-in / watch current activity.

The exhibition has been (un) curated by three final-year Architecture Students, Alastair Parvin, Adam Towle and Lukas Barry and can be accessed online at www.thisbuildingleaks.co.uk.
